I think Chad Morris is a good football coach, but if he is going to struggle to recruit he is screwed

It was also the smallest class we’ve taken. It’s almost like those two items are intertwined.

If you go by average star rating it's right where we normally are. They only signed 16 players.

Chad Morris is a solid coach. He will implement an offense that lets 3* recruits thrive. Arkansas will be a 7-8 win team every year (starting in 2020 probably), with the occasional 9 or 10 win season.

That’s what Arkansas is as a football program in the SEC

It was a tiny transition class and Bert certainly didn't do him any favors with where he was on the recruiting trail. I thought he addressed needs really well. Morris didn't accidentally get that Clemson OC job, he can coach. I don't know how he'll do long term at Arky but I know that he'll have better classes than this one going forward and that their offense will be a bitch to defend.

As to the resources, have you been to their campus recently? We toured all of the athletic facilities with our baseball recruits and they are very impressive and we've toured a lot of schools. Hell, I'm a Horn and I grew up always hating the Hogs but they certainly aren't hurting for resources/financial support these days.

The program was engulfed in flames and I can't recall a smaller class in my lifetime, maybe ever.

2018 was obviously going to suck for football, anyway. None of us are particularly worried about it.

I'm sure you're trolling, but he came in very late...and is not a NC winning coach like Fisher and is essentially trying to get the same recruits.

He'll be alright.

With the addition of the early signing period you can't really blame or give credit to the new coach for their first recruiting class. This is Bielema's class. I'm not under the impression that Morris is gonna do a whole lot better recruiting but we should try to be fair.

Why even play games if you dickwad recruiting dorks think that is the end-all be-all of college football? Get outside and do something instead of looking at 18 yr olds in spandex running around.

Arkansas isn't known for great recruiting classes anyways. The state lacks the talent of most sec states.

Say what you want, but there are some players with very good offers in this class, committable or not. Especially on defense. We signed the highest rated duo of safeties we've had since 2002.

Bumper Pool - Alabama, LSU, Michigan, TCU, A&M, USC
Andrew Parker- Texas, Ole Miss, A&M, TCU
Myles Mason - Flipped from Miss. St. - 8 total P5 offers including Alabama, Auburn, Fla St and Tenn
Billy Ferrell- Alabama, Wisconsin, Louisville
Laddarius Bishop- Flipped from Miss. St. - 8 total P5 offers including Florida
Joseph Foucha- LSU and Ole Miss visits -20 total P5 offers including Alabama, Auburn, Fla St, OU, Oregon, A&M
Courte Alexander - Texas
Nick Fulwider - flipped from UNC - 21 P5 offers
Rakeem Boyd- No. 3 JUCO RB, former A&M RB
Ryan Winkel- Miss St., Tennessee, Nebraska
Michael Woods - 8 P5 offers
Dorian Gerald - No. 1 JUCO DE, A&M, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, LSU , etc.

Chad Beat Your Team as OC at Clemson both times he coached against AU.

The guy was hired Dec 6th to a program that has been in a bad way for several years.

I guess you don't know how that who recruiting thing works...
