Is there where you tell us you’ve met Saban before and tried dragging him to the back closet to blow him?

Met James Franklin at McGhee Tyson when he was recruiting Patton Robinette.

Fulmer lived less than a minute down the road.

Spurrier through family that went to Science Hill w/ him.

Kirby Smart (when he was in school), Mark Richt at a meet and great, Bill Curry when he was GSU coach (nicest guy ever, sent me and my coworkers donuts and a nice card for helping with something), Hugh Durham when he was at UGA.

I personally met Kirby at a restaurant in Athens soon after he took the job here. It was at a kids oriented restaurant, he was with his wife and kids as was I.

I had a 30 minute phone conversation with Vince Dooley when I worked at the school newspaper. He called me.

I met Gene Stallings at a book signing in ‘97. He had just retired from coaching. Very nice man.

I met nick saban when I was in Jr high and he was in his 1st season at LSU. His wife had to make him sahake our hands. Saban really is an a-hole, he's a great coach, but there's no rea son to be an absolute dick like that.

I was on to the rental cars at the Denver Airport with Bruce Pearl back in June. Got to talk SEC basketball with him for a few minutes.

Off the top of my head, I have met 3 SEC football coaches and 3 Basketball Coaches in my lifetime.

I almost hit Ron Polk in the head at baseball camp one year. Throwing runners out at home was always one of my favorite things to do. That combined with the excitement of playing on Dudy Noble field for the 1st time caused me to get a little too much on the throw. He didn’t look to happy about it.
