I don't think they are bored or unappreciative in any way.
I do think they would like to see the best CFB coach of this generation (maybe ever) win a "clean" NC without needing a selection committee to insert them into the playoff or directly in the NC (see 2011) after not even winning the division or conference.

If that's the way you really feel LSU should hand back the 07' NC trophy cause you guys lost 2 games that year, 1 to Ky.
