I do think they would like to see the best CFB coach of this generation (maybe ever) win a "clean" NC without needing a selection committee to insert them into the playoff or directly in the NC (see 2011) after not even winning the division or conference.

2009 (14-0) was probably the "cleanest" of them all obviously. But it was not without controversy or luck.
LSU would have won that game (and you know it) if Patrick Peterson had not got robbed.
Then you got lucky when Tennessee had you beat but that fat, bama bust, nose guard (Mount Cody) blocked that last second field goal.
2012 was not "clean" because of the loss to aTm and the lucky win in Tiger stadium when the 3rd and Chavis failed again.
2015 was not "clean" either with a loss to Ole Miss and Saban needing a lucky trick play and at least two busted coverages to beat Clemson.
Look man, don't beat your wife and kids because some guy with the screen name BlackCloud has decided to rain on your e-NC parade.
I think many bama fans also agree with me, although they would never admit it publicly.They are sick of selection committee's, not winning the division, not winning the conference, favorable ref treatment at critical times, etc etc etc. I could go on and on and on and on. But I almost have my limit on one cast, and to be quite honest, you people bore me.

Amazing. LSU was behind two scores, they made two first downs the entire second half, had a 97 yards total offense for the game ... but if Peterson’s juggling catch was ruled an interception, somehow LSU was going to take over the game and score twice while shutting out an Alabama team that dominated the game.

LSU won the division and conference both years (2003 and 2007) and was one of the two best teams available according to the BCS committee.

That was a messy, crazy year if you remember the last weekend of CFB.
But LSU with two overtime losses and no other worthy 1 or two loss teams was the obvious choice for the BCSNC game.
As someone who lived through the 90's, I don't give a flying eFFF how unclean they are.
But I know many bama fans and I knew my first post would draw the replies and downvotes like flies to shite.
It's too easy. I'm just having fun. Lighten up guys.
