Should LSU re-hire Miles?

I mean, why not? The guy never lost more than 5 games there.
If the Cookie Monster stumbles and goes 5-7, and he and Alleva are shown the door, is there a possibility the new AD admits that the university made a mistake and welcomes back the Mad Hatter?

They should. But they won’t.

Should UT re-hire Butch? He did improve the program over Dooley.

Les never lost every single conference game and alienated people the way Botch did.

Do we have an opening? I am pretty sure we have a guy under contract for our HC job.

They are stuck with Oberman for another year at least.

I think LSU has TWO guys under contract. Next year they will pay Miles more money not to coach then they pay Ogre to coach. They might actually save money sending 0 to the showers and reactive red Miles.

Deserves a lifetime contract

Might as well. We are paying Les not to coach and paying idiOt to coach. So fricking backwards

If Miles would learn how to adapt and let his coordinators do all the work, (mainly offensively), then I would not mind it at all. Hire a younger offensive coordinator and let them go at it.

No, but who knows? Maybe we will adhere to the Tennessee model and eventually hire him as A.D.

Aranda will be the next coach at LSU in 2020.

Miles is actually a good coach but he failed with the passing attack. Otherwise, his teams were pretty damn good all around. Lsu suffered from lack of a passing game. Miles is more of a big D, power run game type guy. I wonder if he has changed since then.

If no one in college sports hired him yet then why would we re-hire? Everyone has seen how he can take a championship team and blow games because he wants to run the ball every frickn play! No quaterback development! Stubborn! Its sad how he squandered all of those talented teams!

Why would he take another job right now when you guys are paying him a coach's salary to sit on his arse?
He will take another job I imagine, but not right away. You been coaching that long a couple years off paid probably sounds pretty good.

The best coach for them is the guy who replaced? Miles at ok state the mullet I'm a man Gundy. Thank God that will never happen though due to stupidity.

He's applied for numerous jobs and didn't get hired. It's not that he doesn't want to coach, he was wealthy before we fired him lol. Money isn't an issue for miles. The longer he sits out though, the longer he loses his credit and relevance. Hell, he could have retired after coaching for 5 years and lived extremely comfortably. That's not the point.
