What will be your reaction if TUA doesn't start first game of 2018?

Maybe too soon, but I thought it would be good topic of discussion this morning. Honestly, I think there would be an epic melt.

If Georgia had been the semifinal and Alabama had to play last night, I'd bet money that Hurts would have started. In spite of the Georgia game, Saban would go back to his starter.
Now, after going through the spring, it could be a different story.

My reaction? I'll be hoping Alabama isn't saving him for after halftime of the SECCG against us.

Not sure what others reaction will be but I can sure in the hell tell you what Tua reaction will be

I'll be the biggest fan of whoever starts.

I will melt quicker than a snowman in 100 degree weather.

It'll be the first time I call FInebau in a decade.

My thought is that unless Tua turns out to be a drug dealer or he has an epic regression as in having a mental block throwing the ball, Saban will *have* to start him.

Put me down for an extra large melt in that case.
Might even need a 2x

For those of you who think Hurts starts... don't eat tide pods

I may be under-appreciative.

I thought I would care about QB controversy in Tuscaloosa. I do not.

Jalen will probably start letting the ball fly now. What's he got to lose- his job. Maybe he's a better passer than we know and has just been afraid to turn the ball over. Tua might not look the same to us come September. I don't see him being allowed to operate with reckless abandon like he did in the NCG. But sometimes you have to let a guy go to win and the NCG was that time.

It wont matter. You still have Saban as the coach. He knows what he is doing.
I think Saban realizes he has Gold and Platinum in each pocket, so I would guess he will play the dual threat next year. If he does, and both Hurts and Tua excel, its all over but the crying, Bama on to another NC... 7 titles and Saban replaces the Statue of liberty in New York. LOL

Not surprised.
Saban has never needed a gunslinger to win championships. He does need a QB that can stand in the pocket, make a decision, and pull the trigger.
Tua will have to work on protecting the ball and proving the interception, the few coverage sacks, and the risky TD throw were fixable mistakes. If not, I'm not going to be surprised to see Jalen "I Don't Turn the Ball Over" Hurts be the starter next season.
