I know it sounds crazy to say after watching them win another natty

Obviously they're the favorites next year with Tua, but Hurts playing as long as he did demonstrates that Saban is human, not robot college Belichick. This was the first year that it felt like Bama's dynasty was really winding down, that Saban was nearing the end of his career. This isn't a "Saban is retiring" troll.

We know Georgia with Kirby can compete with Bama. We know Auburn can beat Bama. We'll see what Mullen and Cuttcliffe are able to at UF and UT in the next few years, but it honestly feels like the SEC is wide open for the first time in awhile

Chapter 2, page 8 of The Process clearly states that it is not what the opponent does that affects the outcome, it’s what you do and how you play.

Talking about how not scared you are is usually something scared people do

LSU competed also but hardly won . And BAMA rarely goes undefeated, so what’s your point ?

I can see you grasping for straws ...

Except that didn't happen. People fear the unknown. We are in the acceptance phase now. Accept your fate and go back to the corner.

Or perhaps putting in all those freshmen in the second half, and watching them perform at a championship level, taught him to go with who is hot instead of sticking with seniority?

It honestly feels like you didn't watch the 2nd half last night. Bama came back with a true freshman under center, a true freshman RB, a true freshman LT, and 2 true freshman WRs.

Oh yea they also had 8 (I think that's the number I heard) freshman with major contributions on defense.

Oh yea Saban's not retiring.

So yea it's different but still exactly the same.

Afraid of Bama narrative is dumb...we get everyone's best shot. LSU played us hard, Aggie played us hard, MSU played us hard, Auburn beat us, UGA played hard, etc. etc.

I am resigned to the fact that LSU will not sniff any sort of championship, any sort of relevance, or any sort of victory over Bama ... so long as O is the HC.

There's no fear there. Mainly ... apathy.

It's not that yall aren't scared anymore, it's just that when the fear is with you 24/7/365 you become numb to it and can even fail to recognize it. It's just part of the human condition.

This is college football. Everyone gets everyone's best shot. If that's not true you're doing it wrong.

People act like Saban is immortal but he won't be around forever and this year was the first sense I got that he's truly in the twilight of his career

Nobody afraid of them until the clock gets below 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Go back and watch your current coach's game against them this past season.

Had Tua played the whole game last night, Bama blows out Georgia.

All those freshman playing last night has to strike fear in other teams and coaches.

Tua looks like one of those generational QB. Bama might not lose again with him as QB.

No kinda about it. UGA played not to lose. They deserved to lose. Bama deserved to win. Watching Smart coach was like watching Les Miles coach, particularly in the last 9 mins of regulation and OT.

No doubt, and Georgia is only going to continue getting stronger. The East should worry about UGA the way the West should continue to worry about Bama.

That said, Bama with Tua out-scored UGA 26-10. Let's not act like Tua at QB doesn't make this team vastly better than Hurts at QB. The question is why did it take so long to make the change? Likely b/c of what Hurts had accomplished and his role as a leader on the team if I had to guess.
