What are Missouri fans thoughts on Barry Odom?

Dude just looked lost out there tonight. Should he be fired?

We aren’t the kind of program that can go hire a game changing coach.
We can end up with one on accident like we did with Pinkel. But not on purpose.
So we will putz along with wiBO and pretend it doesn’t matter that we’re going to sign 1 out of the top 10 Missouri High school players and that he can’t get his team to show up for a bowl game or the start of the season or that coaches may or may not like working for him and that he seems to be kind of a dick and that he invoked a dead player in the Rant.
We went to a bowl. Yay.

From the outside looking in it certainly looks like Josh Heupel bailed him out this season.

He's not good. As long as he gets to a bowl game every other year he won't be fired.

The extension is meaningless. He didn’t even get a raise. That’s how impressed our AD was.

Not exactly true....there's a clause tied to attendance so if attendance goes up (can't remember the exact number) he gets a % of the tix sales.

That’s not a raise. That’s a performance-based bonus. Sterk is letting him earn his compensation. More teams should do this.

Arguable since it wasn't in his original contract (I say arguable since it's an addition but agree that he's not just getting more $$.....depends on one's definition of what a raise is).

Barry didn't lose that game. Penalties and turnovers did. They just played bad. I didn't think either team was good and i expected one to play like a dumpster fire. That's what happens when mediocre teams play each other. both suck it up and one team sucks less

Your athletic department is in a unique situation. I feel like most fans want better results and mediocrity is not the goal anymore. Also think Sterk wants to take the program in a new direction but isn’t getting the support he needs from the higher ups to make a move. Sterk is a good AD imo

It would’ve been easier to make a move if Arkansas, Tennessee, and Florida weren’t having their worst years in a minute.
If we end the season at 4-8 and 1 conference win, Sterk at least puts Odom on notice. I’m afraid Odom bought two more years when he may have just deserved one. But it will still be a crap shoot hiring a new coach, so I’m ok with favoring stability and riding this horse until it’s fully dead.
