Definitely a crazy night on Coinbase.
Co-founder of Bitcoin said he was pulling all of his money from BTC and putting it into Bitcoin Cash BCH. Coinbase launched BCH yesterday and didn't announce it while others had inside info with the date and time so they were prepared to trade. A lot of people sold off BTC causing it to drop while BCH skyrocketed with the demand and people pumping the hell out of it. A lot of people who bought into BCH right away sold it at the top and the price crashed back to roughly where it started. Not to mention that Coinbase froze for a period of time during the middle of this. They handled the launch extremely poorly. Lots of money was made last night by some people.
I wasn't lucky enough to get into BCH last night, but I did manage to buy BTC yesterday during the dip and converted to IOTA so I can't complain too much.

Yeah. I bout BTC during the down turn. I knew BCH would crash. I think I am gonna buy some Ripple, IOTA, and a few others and hold for a bit. The inside trading acquisitions sends out the wrong vibe.

I’ve got some bitcoin and litecoin on Coinbase. I’ve been trying for a week to get ripple but can’t figure that shite out. What are y’all using to get ripple?

You need to have bitcoin to purchase ripple.

Right then use Binance or one of those other exchanges to transfer it over to buy the alt coins.

Price of BTC down 33% from past week's highs. Guess my decision to sell last week wasn't so crazy. Esp. since the original coin cost just $400. arstechnica.com/tech-policy/20… Funny thing is I know people who just bought in last week and they're holding on for dear life right now.

Well, yeah. It is never a sound financial decision to buy high and sell low in any market.
