Which SEC town has the most natural beauty?

Gainesville has palm trees and tropical/subtropical foliage. Same for BR but to a lesser extent.
Knoxville has the river, adjacent hills, and the Smokies nearby.
Fayetteville is in the midst of the Ozarks.
Athens has the typical lush rolling pine forests of North/Central Georgia. Columbia (SC) is somewhat similar.
Lexington, Auburn, Oxford, and Tuscaloosa aren't bad but aren't really remarkable either.
College Station and Starkville are ugly AF IMO.

I'd think Knoxville. Mountains are incredible.

This is a sad, sad thread.
Too soon for this level of desperation. Not that it's not warranted. Just won't get any sympathy in freaking DECEMBER.

Athens. And it isn't even close...even if we leave the women out.

These are the top two

I think it's Fayetteville and I don't think it's really all that close.
Knoxville has probably the only argument, but up close and personal it can look a little dreary sometimes. Think a nicer version of a beat up WV mining town. It definitely is near the top for towns if the conversation is "how aesthetically pleasing are the nearby areas".
I don't know why Athens is being mentioned. Athens is a great town, but it's not a particularly attractive part of the state and Athens doesn't show much of what's available anyway.
