Who is in favor of Malzahn getting an extension and raise?
No riding the fence. shite or get off of the pot.

What say you?

I've said it before and stick with it now, he is either second or third best coach in the conference with Saban being the best in the country.

I wouldn't write an open check to him. If Arkansas offers him the 7.5 a year or so, I wouldn't match that much but I think he is worth as much as Mullen is if not a little more. He will only get better also.

Match what Arkansas offers. If he leaves, he leaves. Auburn will be fine without Malzahn, I don't think the same can be said for him if he goes elsewhere.

Extension and I question the intelligence of anyone who disagrees.

Fans are so emotional. There is zero chance competent leadership want give Gus what he wants. He has earned it and we will be better off for the continuity.

Considering the talent on roster for AU, it would probably be best for AU if he stays, so I'll go with I want him to stay and AU should offer an extension. Any coaching search right now would have to happen quickly for recruiting.

Regardless, I am sure AU knows one way or the other, and is preparing accordingly.

Deserves a raise and an extension. Anyone that thinks we will replace him with a better coach is delusional.

Anyone mind telling me the number we think the raise would be? Like 6 a year?

Give me a coach who can have more than one successful RB at a time not one who builds his offense around one player and rides him into the ground

F--k this...I've been ready before this year began (and said so)

but calling for his head today, in this kind of game, is an Arkansas level of sleaze. Sleep it off and wake up in the minority tomorrow.

Give him a little bump for winning the west. He has to prove to me he can adjust when his master plan goes to shite in a game. Adjusting is all he is lacking IMO. It’s like he freezes and don’t know what the hell to do when his game plan doesn’t work.

Isn't Arkansas supposedly offering 6 at 39 million?

He "earned it" by temporarily fixing a problem HE CREATED only for him to have the team look as unprepared as they did at the lowest points of this season in the most important game of the season. All this after 2-3 years of complete frickery wherein he couldn't get his offense to do anything.

Good for him for reeling this season back on track, but don't expect this guy to remain mistake free if we keep him long term. He is what he is; and you will still see "bad Gus" pop up regardless of how good our team is.

This was a Championship caliber season, so I personally choose not to pretend like he did something incredible because he won 10 games. I don't even care that we lost this game, its the fact that we looked like Clemson/LSU Auburn after weeks of riding all the momentum in the world. We got killed by a team that we decimated just a couple weeks ago, and it didn't even look like we were ready for a challenge.

So answer the question genius. Do we keep him or not? If not, who do we get?

THIS X 100!!!!

People are in here acting like it's a feat to take an NFL QB, an NFL RB, a group of 5 and 4 star receivers, and an experienced OLine to 10 wins. It wasn't a bad season, but it was a disappointing one
