This is the first time we've lost by 2 scores since a somewhat meaningless Sugar Bowl loss to Oklahoma in 2013, and even that game could be explained by lots of turnovers and Trevor Knight playing the game of his life

This is the first time in a lonnnng time where I feel like we lost to a wholly better team and would stand little chance in a rematch without a change at QB. Alabama has always been able to keep its head high even after a tough loss, but this was different.
We actually aren't a good team this year, and it feels bizarre

The game has passed Saban by. Maybe 6 wins next year at best

When you are at the top of the stairs, that first step down can be scary.

You are one of the very few people actually melting.

But hey, at least you haven't hoped anybody has their leg muscle ripped to shreds. Improvement!

I haven't seen the melt. It isn't like Auburn shut us down like they did Georgia. Then, I would melt. Auburn is a very good team. We can't and won't beat them every year.

You are delusional. Alabama is a good team this year. They might not be great / as good as some other recent Bama teams, but they are certainly a good team.

#1 and undefeated prior to IB. Now #6 with 1 loss.

"Not a good team."

Look... and this is coming from an Auburn fan... it's silly to say that Alabama isn't a good team. For chrissakes, you were number one much of the year. Auburn is just better right now. You'd STILL beat 20 out of the top 25 or so teams right now. Come on. Your "letdown year" is 11-1 going into the frickin' Orange Bowl, where you'll probably spank Miami. That's an all-time best team for even respectable programs like a Kansas State or a Texas Tech. THAT is your "down year".

Bama usually loses a game a year. Every year, from all sides, the world is ending afterwards

Use the UGA excuses.

Bright lights
flickering scoreboard
loud noises
mean players
cheating refs

RoleTide alter probably, and definitely not a Bama fan.

You are pretty much the only Bama fan I’ve seen melt about anything all week. You suck. Hurry up and lose your password.

I was at that game. We had the ball down by 7 with about a minute to go when a strip, sack led to a late TD to provide the full margin. It was closer than the 2 scores makes you think. AU beat us by 12 and it wasn't closer than the score indicated.

The loss to AU by 12 was the 1st double digit SEC loss by Bama since 2010 to USCe. 7 years between loses of 2 scores isn't too bad.
