My next door neighbor (Bama Fan) has been texting me non-stop and giving me hell about Bama beating State again......

He did say he was totally blown away how the game day experience at Starkville has changed, since the last time he was there.
From the tailgating, pregame before kickoff, saluting the armed forces and how loud the crowd was. He said Davis Wade and Starkville was a fun experience.
He told me his son said “This place is lit”. I guess that’s a good thing.

Besides the Cowbells.. I know that answer.
Did other Bama fans enjoy the gameday?

Starkville: Come for the moral victories, stay because you're pleasantly surprised it's not a complete shite hole.

MSU has become a tough out in starkvegas under Mullen, I think everyone recognizes that.

I refuse to go to MSU games because of the Cow Bells. They're distracting and hurt my years - the SEC shouldn't have altered the rule to allow them.

It's sucks y'all lost the game, but at least Bama won't make sure the SEC bans the cowbells now.

You sound exactly like a auburn fan looking for anyone to tell you that you are pretty. The truth is you are the butt ugly chick that pays for dinner...other than that, it is a great experience

If you make like an aggie and stick all of those racket making cowbells up your asses for good, you may get a 8th to 13th grade in the SEC for your gameday experience.

I have been several times, and I will go on record saying that right now Davis Wade is one of the most fun stadium experiences in the SEC without question (for a big game).

From top to bottom, the execution of their gameday experience is fantastic. Yeah, the cowbells are annoying, but its a tradition.

The media team that controls the lights, music and PA system truly understands the game, and how important it is to play the right music/videos at the right time.

Tip of the hat from an LSU fan here.

Gameday experience in Starkville sure beats the shite out of Oxford that's for sure. I'd still put it behind LSU, bama, Auburn, Tennessee, and Georgia

I had a great time, but the traffic to get out of there was awful. I don't know how they'd fix it, but it was by far the longest it had ever taken me to get off a campus after a game.

They just need a few more port a potties on campus. When I went in 2015 the line was a fricking mile long

I have a hard time believing your tailgating is anything but atrocious. It's the worst I've seen next to Vandy (they're worse I'll grant you).

Don't let anyone else's opinions ruin your experience. It's great as a fan when you can truly appreciate your own Gameday experience.

I’ve been to Davis Wade the last 3 times Bama has played there as well as every SEC stadium. Saturday night was up there for me when it comes to game atmospheres. I have a friend on the Bama staff and he said it’s loud af on the field. The experience Saturday night was great. Tons better than the last 3 times we visited. Great energy throughout the game. Can’t wait to go back.
