you are such a hoot. 
seriously, why you bring in trocha to try and deny the inbounds pass but apply no additional pressure whatsoever in the backcourt?
it makes no sense.
trocha coming in to guard the inbounds pass is a waste of a defender if youre not gonna actually try to deny the ball to sexton. it was bascially 4 on 5 with only guilder playing at that point.

Pat's response to that would be, "his defense held the opponent to zero rushing yards on that play" (despite the fact that it gave up an 85-yard touchdown on a simple slant pattern)

Forcing even one pass to the block means there's not enough time to get off a shot. Forcing a pass to the wing drops the chances of a bucket drastically. If you drain that outside shot, you earned your win. But that layup?! We gave it away.

Usually the inbounds player in this situation is a big...with 4.4 seconds left he isn't trailing and catching anything.
If we are able to have the guy catch the ball going to the inbounds guy - that costs time for them to make the turn to dribble or find someone open for the pass.
I guess I'd rather make Scottie Pippen or Dennis Rodman beat me than have MJ take the shot at the end... so I can stomach that kind of loss.

We don't deserve to have a good bball team with how sad our fanbase is. Still want BK fired, but it's not like we are a desirable place for good coaches.

Doesn't matter. Woodward isn't making a move after the season. The only way a change occurs is if BK steps aside on his own accord. And I don't think he will. He's going to stay on the job as long as he can.
