LSU hasn't even played it's starting defense yet.
This is the only statement of any real worth you've made.

Lsu is a 13 pt favorite on the road. State's win total in Vegas is 5.5.
The end.
The end.

Chump teams we've played? We've both played chump teams so far but I'd put BYU over both of the teams State has played. Ring your stupid little cowbells all you want but we're going to beat you like a drum Saturday night. One of these years you're going to quit buying into the early season grind and just accept the inevitable.

These stats are all fricked up! How in the world is LSU giving up 10 pt a game when we zipped BYU and only gave up 10 pts in yesterday's game.
Rush and passing stats are wrong too! frick you!

Well.....You won't catch LSU traveling to LA Tech to play a football game.
That says a lot about where these two programs are, in the big scheme of things.
State has one win VS LSU this century. That says a lot, too.
But I do believe Mississippi State is a good team worthy of our respect. I KNOW our coaches and players believe the same.
I just believe our overall talent on the field- and on the sidelines- will prove to be too much for the men from Starkville to overcome.

I would start saying "frick it we can win" too if we only won 2 out of the last 25 meetings too. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

It sucks that we play MSU so early in the season. I hate crushing their dreams before the season ever gets started. At least give them a whole month before they have to watch their dreams get crushed again

I believe this is gonna be a great game. Close and played hard by both teams with a belief that the win will launch them to a great season.

I wonder why las vegas disagrees with you excellent in depth analysis?
Especially your logic about LSU playing "chump" teams while crediting MSU for playing Charleston Southern and LA Tech?

Hard to pull stats from a small body of work against sub-talented teams, but judging by what I've SEEN of LSU's defense, they are FAST! They also run fit well! But they are REALLY freaking fast! If Key and Lawrence are back...
Only ways Fitz will be effective are scrambles with LSU in man coverage IF the D-linemen get way out of their lanes. But LSU's pass rushers tend to bend and run so well that they are wrapping you up faster than you realize.
Also could have success if his tight ends and WRs are allowed to pick and push off.
If the tight ends are the key to a big MSU upset, I'll be shocked. The tight ends are USUALLY not game breakers, but ya never know.
MSU will average under 3 yards a carry by everyone other than a possible long scramble increasing Fitz's average.
Guice and Chark will get the ball in space enough to start wearing down the big boys up front for State. Guice runs for 150 and 2 TDs. Chark has 170 all-purpose yards and 2 TDs
LSU wins 38-17 with a late, garbage-time Fitz score on a scramble. The rest of the SEC takes note that LSU no longer sits on small margins in the second half. IMO LSU under O and Canada will shred MSU.

Lsu wins comfortably 31 to 14 or something like that. We arent going to play down o our opponents thag clearly do have as much talent as we have. We also aren't going to be one-dimensional on offense like we're were under miles. TItaly different tewm. Geaux tigers.

Definitely impressed so far by MSU. This will be a tough matchup for us, and will be a huge test for our o-line.
Hopefully Canada has a good game plan for dealing with the pressure msu is likely to get on our qb.

we played 75 players the first 2 games so you probably saw everyone on the team that wasn't hurt play. i think we have 78-80 on roster. We do have a really deep DL that is better than LSU's. sorry not sorry but true... rest of defense LB are good... secondary is weak spot but its not like LSU is running the spread with best passing game in country. If we don't come out flat i think our chances of winning are 80% if we come out flat i think our chances of winning are 40%.

you're out of your mind if you think State puts 28 on LSU's D.
