Whereas a Clemson loss, coupled with a number of other key ACC losses, NC State, FSU, Ga Tech, UNC, etc., would and should shut up the Danny Kannel ACC homers, no rightful Alabama fan would root for Auburn.
Hell, few pulled for them when Bama needed them to beat Ole Miss a couple of years ago.

As far as Auburn goes, this game is Al Qaeda vs. ISIS, but an Auburn win might very well knock the ACC out of the playoffs, and the air out of Dabo's sails.

where? maybe one or two. most are pulling for future Bama HC Dabo Swinney to continue to build his resume with a strong OOC win against a quality opponent. It gives him a chance to show that even though he's coaching at AU with a Lake, he still understands the rivalry he grew up on.
