I was getting a little concerned about RB recruiting. Gus did work here.

Thought he was a goner up until a few days ago. Solid back that I think fits well into our system

Nice pickup Auburn friends.

He's a great kid as well as a player.

The players who commit to the University of Auburn are always the bestest.

I'll go ahead and state now, that when Alabama lands Joiner, I still like Martin a lot more.

We missed out.

He is going to the University of Auburn. That University is really starting to piss me off.

Good pick up. Good for florida indirectly, gets Auburn off Dameon Pierce's trail

I love Harold Joiner's size. I wish Auburn would recruit bigger running backs more.

I do too but he runs like he's 5'10" 160. Plays much smaller than his size. If he learns to run behind his pads he could be something. As of now I think he's got a better future at WR

Pretty much. I think he is destined to be a Dallas Clark/Even Engram type player (not that that is a bad thing).

Martin has a decent frame that can add a little more weight. Someone on the AU board said he reminded them of Gallman, and I think that is a pretty decent comparison of what Martin "could" be like in college.

Agreed. Dude is a freak athlete. Moves way to swiftly and fast for his frame. Just don't think he's an SEC RB YET. Very interested to see what he does as senior. If he starts developing more physicality then he might end up one of the better backs in this class. I would still love for AU to take him if possible as an athlete. He hasn't come off the best in some interviews but I do think he's got a skillset that could do damage at next level

That's a pretty solid comp. I suspect he ends up playing the 210-215 lb range which is big enough to be every down guy

I'll be at the Mtn. Brook vs Spain Park game later in september, so I'll try and report back on what I see out of Joiner in person.

I think he's one of the most fascinating prospects this cycle
