Chubb squats 600

Less than two years after destroying his knee. What a beast.

Wow, impressive. Pulling for him to stay healthy and have a good season.

I liked this quote from him when he talked about retuning for his SR year:

quote:

"The last game (a loss to Georgia Tech) didn't go how any of us wanted. ... It kind of hurt inside. I'm a very prideful guy," Chubb said, per ugasports.com. "To bypass the year and go chase something that's hopefully going to always be there for me, bypassing hanging out with my friends, and the brotherhood we have here, I couldn't pass up my senior year."

DGD.

Probably would have gone down as the second best to ever do it at UGA if it weren't for the freak accident.

Guice squats 650. That's cute though.

Strong dude. His issue last year looked like "trust" to me. He looked very different than the beast running the ball he was before injury

I think Chubb will be Chubb again only if he can trust the knee repair. Only time will tell..

Good to see him healthy again. Was tough to see that even as an LSU fan. Brought me back to seeing marcus lattimore's injury live on TV. Almost put a tear in my eye. Hate seeing young kids suffer career altering injuries. Hopefully Chubb returns to full health and gets drafted in the first round....behind guice.

Sorry, had to get my jab in.

Nick Chubb is not only a great player, he's an awesome person.

Seems that other SEC fans know this about him, which is awesome. Then you have other fans trying to compare other backs to him; they clearly miss the point. To those "fans" I'd suggest they listen to a few interviews with NC.
Obviously, I'm an UGA fan, but I'd respect a student athlete like Chubb, no matter who he played for.

Anyone trying to compare most other SEC RBs to Nick after his injury and rehabilitation is missing the point. The point is he's a great example of a humble, team player, and a leader in the locker room and on the field.

I wish him nothing but the best.

A&M has a sophomore LB from Tennessee squatting 675 like it's nothing.

I remember in 2014, when we were dreaming big and word came that your starter RB was injured. Then this pic of him in high school surfaced. He ran 38 freaking times for only 3.8 per carry, but we could not stop that freak on third down for our life.
