Many students dream of going to college on a football scholarship. However, even at the top level of college sports, few students go on to play professionally.

This makes it important for students to make sure they are getting a good education while getting the chance to play college sports.

...colleges are ranked by the success of the specific sports team as well as the academic progress of the athlete.

So what you are saying is that the athletes take really easy courses overall and then get some smart undergrad "Tutor" to take the online courses in the athlete's stead....and Alabama is really good at it.

No Stanford completely invalidates the list. They're far and away #1.

Vandy, UVA, UCLA should be considered.

Stanford is the best by a substantial margin.

What a BS survey. What it say is what is the highest chance of playing football and getting a degree. Has nothing to do with the quality of the education or the degree. In fact it only validate Football machines.

I'll copy this part of the list again for the people who don't read good and want to learn to do other things good too.

Stopped at number 2 w/TCU. It's a fricking party school to the max. My brother didn't even have to open his books to get As in his classes when he was there waiting for Tulane to reopen due to Katrina.

al.com just did a story that claimed bammer grads only had the 7th highest average salary among colleges in the state of Alabama. I think garbage men might make more money than the average bammer grad
