Many students dream of going to college on a football scholarship. However, even at the top level of college sports, few students go on to play professionally.
This makes it important for students to make sure they are getting a good education while getting the chance to play college sports.
...colleges are ranked by the success of the specific sports team as well as the academic progress of the athlete.

If I had a son who was getting D1 offers but nothing top-tier, I'd send him to Cutcliffe and Duke in a heartbeat.

So what you are saying is that the athletes take really easy courses overall and then get some smart undergrad "Tutor" to take the online courses in the athlete's stead....and Alabama is really good at it.

Bogus list.
Stanford should blow everybody else away.
Stanford should blow everybody else away.

No Stanford completely invalidates the list. They're far and away #1.

No Vandy.
List is shite.
List is shite.

when Stanford isn't #1 and Baylor is #7.... we should stop reading.

Vandy, UVA, UCLA should be considered.
Stanford is the best by a substantial margin.

What a BS survey. What it say is what is the highest chance of playing football and getting a degree. Has nothing to do with the quality of the education or the degree. In fact it only validate Football machines.

Academic integrity actually kind of hurts you in this list. If a high academic school isn't losing football players for academic reasons, it should raise eyebrows. The possible exception is Stanford because of how picky they can be in recruiting.

I see reading is difficult for some. This list is based on the progress student atheltes make while in school. Stanford, having ridiculously high standards, certainly wouldn't be as good in that area as some other schools.

I'll copy this part of the list again for the people who don't read good and want to learn to do other things good too.

so you're under the impression Stanford football players don't academically progress?
Really?
Really?
