The new mascot will be a Bengal Tiger (or possibly a Siberian/Bengal mix like the last one).
His name will be Mike VII.
PETA has already pressured LSU into not showcasing the next Mike in the stadium during games, but that's as far as it will go.
His 10,000 sf Habitat is better than what he would have at any sanctuary or zoo. Plus the nationally ranked LSU School of Veterinary Medicine will take care of his every need.
