Come on ole miss fans.... When are you going to pressure change at Ole Miss? Are you really ok with the leadership burning it down in the slim chance they can win this?
If enough of you sent messages, you would gain years in rebounding!

Ole Miss rejects Freedom of Information request on amended NOA. Contends it “does not possess or retain copy” of NOA. Wait, what?

Then what's in it that Ole Miss doesn't want everyone to see?
Remember, we've only heard what Ole Miss has told us is in the NOA, not the ACTUAL NOA.
So therefore we've only heard Ole Miss' interpretation of what's in the NOA and what they want us to hear.

According to media folks on Twitter, a third party law firm is holding it so they don't have to release it to FOI requests.

How can he deny Ole Miss has it when he announced they received it a couple of weeks ago? He even said they were waiting to release it to the public until all alleged parties had time to consult with legal reps and were prepared to respond. But now that someone has thrown a FOIA at them they somehow don't have a copy now? Well wtf was he reading at his press conference? This is just sad at this point.

There is whisperings that what we were told is not even close to all there is in the actual NOA.

Don't think that would matter. They very well be doing this, but based on my interpretation of the MS law on the subject, you can't simply hand over docs you don't want people to see and say you don't have it. And based on the application, they only have 14 days by law to release it and, if they can't, they have to provide a reason as to why and cite what exemptions they fall under if they refuse. Based on the listed exemptions, it doesn't appear they fall under any.

Oh I don't doubt that at all. Ole Miss has been anything but transparent through this entire investigation. They're really just digging a deeper and deeper hole. Guess they haven't figured out yet the #1 thing that pisses the NCAA off is lying and trying to hide improprieties. Their compliance department is a total clown show.

The oldest trick in the book: give documents to your attorney and then claim you don't have them. Yeah, every Judge in Mississippi will buy that argument.

Not a good look.
If Ole Miss has reported everything in its entirety and in a non redacted manner, why hold back?
If thy haven't reported honestly, it's really not a good look.
If they truely don't have a copy, (how?!) well then that is just completely odd

Even with the FOIA's broad scope, there may be a voluntary or involuntary prohibition against production of documents needed, necessary, or otherwise involved with an ongoing investigation. Call your local DA's office and demand to see their trial prep material on an upcoming case. See how far that gets ya
Your silly little request isn't dispositive, just a little sad and obsessive, really.

^This^ Any 1L could handle this.
The thing I took away is that now media like CBS are picking on poor OlMiss. This won't be like trying to discredit Rosebowl. This is an actual bully pulpit that can hammer OM's rep.

Y'all do know this all gets released in 80 days. I don't understand all the conspiracy theories as of why you follow protocol when it's all coming out very soon anyway. Oh yeah, y'all are all tards

I think this method is used by everybody. It's not that foreign guys. Like above poster said everything will be know in less than 80 days as long as no parties involved ask for an extension.
