Kennedy Just Sucks as a Coach

Good lord, why the hell is Collins in? He is a terrible player. Great kid, but just not good enough to play. Not having a point guard is much better than playing Collins.
I really thought that Kennedy had turned the corner last year, but I sure was duped. This team is as talented of a team as we've recruited in the Kennedy era, but Kennedy just doesn't know how to put them in position to play well and win.
If our athletic department doesn't shite can Kennedy this year, then this program just needs to be done away with. Because we simply aren't serious about basketball.
Kennedy makes me ashamed, and that's saying a lot.

I know. They both need to be gone. Sumlin can't even close the deal on a top ten recruit in Texas. And both Mullen and Freeze coached circles around him the last three years.
Kennedy is the low hanging fruit that can easily be dealt with but we won't.
Every time I try to care I get burned.
We have done a 180 on the leadership that had the nuts to move us to the SEC. Now our leadership sticks their thumb up their arse, then sucks it because they can't fire a coach that isn't getting it done, and won't ever.

This team is the product of two back to back damn good recruiting classes, for our standards. And Kennedy can't win with them.

You said this is the most talented team Kennedy has had. You literally don't follow the team at all if you make that statement. Just admit that you decided to turn on our game cause it's Saturday vs a ranked team and reacted emotionally.

I've made this observation elsewhere but this season seems to parallel the 1981 season. We were coming off a Sweet 16 run and had a talented and massive front line...and no point guard. And similar results. It's frustrating as hell to watch this year and it was frustrating in 1981 as a kid too.

Pat... have you ever played at a high level of competitive basketball? If you've ever gotten to the point where you learn to read offenses and defenses, it doesn't take long to notice that BK's offense is inefficient, ineffective, incoherent and incomprehensible. To the learned basketball eye, he doesn't know what the frick he's doing. Like at all.

If you don't have a PG you are fricked in bball. It doesn't matter what level you are playing. Sorry but you should have known this this team was taking a step back this year w/it's youth and the NCAA not letting JJ Caldwell play.

The frickery increases if you have zero semblance of a plan on the offensive end.
You can scheme around, say, a SG running point. Problem is, Kennedy has no scheme. Talent/experience bailed us out last year.
