If a school gets busted over cars then they aren't doing it right. Bama may live in the gray like most schools, but they have the cars of all athletes in a file system that accounts for registration of the vehicle and even updates the insurance info. They stay on this. If a student athlete in any sport who is in scholarship gets a new car - even if it's a woman's basketball team member - compliance updates the files. I'm sure the UA compliance dept would welcome a focused look into student athletes cars well before a look at virtually anything else. Should be that way at all schools (exception, Ole Miss).
