I think bama wins also, but saban won't face a better coach in college football than Petersen.....yesterday, today, or tomorrow.

For LSU/Saints fans, it's a double edged sword. If the Miami team doctors allow Saban able to sign Brees, the Saints never win a Super Bowl. But then Saban probably wouldn't have left Miami when he did, and Bama wouldn't have a dynasty. Depending on which you care about more, it's either a good or bad thing for Louisianans

[quote]This is why Saban is the best coach to ever live. He gives extra. He's spending money on 8 years of film while Dabo is spending his money on a slide.

Are you stoned? Do you really believe this? Could you imaging how Bama fans would act if another team had the same advantages and relationships that this guy has. He is the king of an unregulated sport. Anything else he is another nobody.

In what? Add all of their NCs together and you still don't get to what Saban has.

Throw in the fact that they make Petrino look like a petty thief when it comes to spying and stealing plays from practice and you've got a solid game plan for Bama.

Anyone with coaching experience knows this

Alright, Little Cowboy... We get it you coached some pop warner in your day. Now go crack another miller lite and get back to yelling at TNF.

Rueben might kill someone if so. Not kidding. Their OL is not prepared to run against Bama.

That's to his credit. He had to have the vision to think of this type of innovation, and the clout to actually be able to get it done. He runs his team like a corporation with these so-called shadow staffs. Can't be mad at him for being smarter than everyone else.

Only problem is, the film that was sent to Alabama was full of nothing but this:

Peterson needs to work on getting his D-Linemen to make it obvious Bama's Oline is holding on every play. Then watch their offense turn into a shuddering turnover machine.

Auburn holds as much or more than Alabama.

I agree - you cannot out-work Saban, and the demands he makes on his staff and players means you cannot out-work them, either. I noticed even when he was at LSU that trick plays didn't often work against him - you could try reverses and throwbacks, etc., but his players almost always stay home and take care of their assignment. LSU used a TE reverse on him a few years ago, and that worked well, but that is a rarity.

Even when he recruits, he watches EVERY snap a player takes before he gives his consent to accept, or tells assistant coach he doesn't want him. You will not out work Saban.

Where do y'all get this retarded shite from? Look, everyone knows he's maybe the greatest college coach of all time and nobody is going to outwork him.

But do you honestly believe he watches EVERY fricking snap EVERY recruit has ever taken? So you want me to believe he has time for that shite? Let's assume a high school player plays 50 snaps per game for 10 games a year (probably way more for teams in playoffs). Multiply that by 3 years (not including their senior year); then multiply that by the number of recruits they look at. Then tell me if you really believe that shite.

This is Saban's MO. He studies film and preaches it to his team and shows it to them until the point it becomes second nature. Why do you think so many teams after playing Alabama say, "it seemed like they knew what we were running. They were calling the play when we lined up!" He out prepares the opponent!! To beat them, you had best be better than them at every position on the field and physically take it!!
