I think their fanbase has finally given up as whole this year which is sad. Because you’re absolutely right, they showed up quite well despite how bad to mediocre they’ve been for their entire history and Coors Field is a gem.

I have heard before that the front office doesn't have much incentive to win because the Rockies do well on attendance numbers and ultimately turn a good profit despite being so consistently terrible
Because it returns such a great profit for hospitals and big pharma

stop playing god. you don't get to condemn me. maybe i meet my "maker", maybe i fade off into the abyss. i tend to think it's the latter so i am not super concerned

your lord and savior was supposed to teach you not to hate. maybe i won't end up in hell for the lack of hate in my heart despite my lack of belief

has your mighty god done anything to prove his/her/their existence? is that lack of proof concerning to you? is all the pain and suffering in the world condoned by said god? i personally hope your life ends in the fairy tale ending you seek and find solace in. i have my doubts however

you know this , how?

based on the data we have it stands to reason an existence of a god is much easier to disprove than prove.

I think it would have been cool if he got to murder more people
Leaving Louisiana for Colorado was the single best decision I have made in my life. Being surrounded by happy, healthy people with all the opportunity for outdoor recreation is truly life changing. Denver as a city is great too. Of course it has some issues as any city does, but it’s a fun city and offers all the typical city amenities
I’m working toward v11 and 14a rock climbs. It’ll be tough, but it’s doable
Software, 15 years, 260k base. One of the best decisions I’ve made in my life was dropping out of Mechanical Engineering in favor of Computer Science. I really only did it because I didn’t think I could handle more calculus classes
Can’t even do blow in the bathroom of a bar with a random person these days due to fent concerns. This is a war against drugs I can get behind
If you need alcohol to sleep you have a problem. Get some sun when you wake up if possible (thanks Huberman), drink lots of water, eat a healthy diet, get some exercise, limit screen time and social media, and get more sun if you can. Stress is a big factor which I think can be negated some with the aforementioned daily habits
Doesn’t help that it’s warmer and dryer than ever, but sure, go ahead and politicize it
He’s 40 years old playing at a level no one has at that age (not even taking into account how many game minutes he has) on a team that is simply not very good. Seems easy enough to understand to me

It's an instant class indicator. It won't be going away. Almost none of my friends have a tattoo and the very few that do have them hidden.

an instant class indicator  your sample size is your tiny little southern bubble. I live amongst far more successful people here by most objective measures in Boulder, and many of them have tattoos

Why make it worse?

it's a stupid argument. people look like shite at 80, and nothing changes that
You are indeed stupid enough to think that sums up one of the greatest basketball careers and players we have ever seen. Do better, baw
