If Alabama had a real QB they would be unstoppable and the best team of all time.

Even with the one we have we appear to be unstoppable and possibly the greatest team of all time. I wouldn't say we are winning in spite of Hurts. He does enough to get the job done. It's not like he's Jeremy Johnson out there or something.

I think we are winning due to our QB who is responsible for about 60% of our offensive production. yes, we would be more dangerous with a passer, but hurts has been extremely good for a true freshman.

One team has played Alabama within 10 points all season, and that team was down 18 with 3:00 left in the game.

Utterly ridiculous. The kid makes mistakes but has been a net positive running the offense and gives them an option that puts pressure in D. My guess this is a troll and meh in execution.

What complex passing game. He throws toward the sideline and behind the line of scrimmage. We rarely go over the middle.

Bama proved you don't need an elite QB to win. You need one that makes limited mistakes.

The problem is that Saban and Kiffin butchered recruiting the QB position so badly that they're forced to start a true freshman QB in the first place. Add in the fact that you have a QB best suited for a spread offense while the rest of the offense is built to run a pro-style offense and you have an offense with this weird clash of mish-mash styles. It speaks to the level of Bama's talent that they've still been able to make it work.
