2 with Mullen. Would be 3 points higher because our offense is still decent breaking in a new QB. However he hired this shitty DC so...

4. The loss to USCe is inexcusable. They are such a terrible football team.

6.5 ... I'll give another point to Boom for each additional win this season from here on out.

Only 9 for Saban, because...

10 years with no Life Championship trophy.

Beating UF singlehandedly saved him from a 1. But he should've already beaten them two more times anyway.

I'm at a solid 3 with Coach O. Just because I like him. It will drop to a mother fricking 0 if they hire him full time though.

When we hire Mike Leach..

6.5

I was at about an 8.5 with him before this season, but we've got a few glaring issues that are concerning.

Our offensive line is genuinely terrible. Our offensive line coach has a matador blocking scheme, has never been a P5 OL coach, and is in over his head. We have a converted DT starting at LG, and our RG for most of the season was a graduate transfer who couldn't get on the field for some of the worst Texas teams ever. What's worse is that he would likely still be playing if a walk-on hadn't walked into Bielema's office and begged for a chance at the starting job. RT has been a revolving door. Austin Allen has a headache just reading this thanks to all of the hits he's taken.

Our defense, despite returning pretty much everyone, is the worst Arkansas defense I've ever seen. The scheme is terrible. Our front seven looks horrendously slow. Our defensive line - the supposed strength of the team, mind you - is weak and can't rush the passer. Our DL has regressed over the last three years thanks in large part to our DL who was hired away from the juggernaut that is Samford.

I'm also leery of our penchant for coming out of the gate slowly at the beginning of the season (lost to Rutgers in 2013, Auburn in 2014, Toledo in 2015 and nearly lost to La. Tech this year).

Bert has to do a couple of things this offseason:
1. Hire a top notch DC (preferably one who actually knows how to defend a spread)
2. Hire a solid DL coach who isn't an FCS all star
3. Hire a proven OL coach who has actually been the head offensive line coach and set foot in a stadium below the Mason-Dixon Line at least once in his life.
4. 'Croot his arse off and sign linebackers on top of linebackers

7. Not the best season, but not a disaster either. Will be forgotten in time if he wins. Killing it in recruiting, so he will have a good chance to do that.

Now you know how everyone feels when they lose to Vandy.

BTW, you should be used to losing to SC by now. You may wanna buckle down and get used to it for a very long time to come.

6.5 before LSU got what they deserved. 8 after LSU got what they deserved.

I'll give Smart a two. The team looks horribly coached and hasn't improved IMO. The only reason I don't say "1" is because Eason is a freshman.
