I think they are one of the best teams in the country. They showed they have the defense to hang with Bama. They can hang with anyone due to the defense. You couldn't defend putting them in the top 4 due to the losses, however they would crush top teams that can't defend the run.

Auburn = Loss
Alabama = Loss
Wins but not quality

Missouri = 3-7
Ole Miss = 5-5, tied 5th or 7th in the west pending how you look at it
State= 4-6 ( see Ole Miss)

LSU 2016 is a tale of opportunity lost. That opportunity was lost not in September against Wisconsin and Auburn, teams LSU would destroy in November, but in December 2015 when Aleeva lost his nerve. Three losses in 2016 is a small price to pay for being able to turn the page on the stagnant mess Les was presiding over.
LSU had their shot at Bama and made us proud. Tip of the hat to Bama for being the better team, LSU 2016 is not in the conversation because of those three losses, I just want to win each of our last three games and the future looks bright. I feel sorry for anybody who plays us from here out in 2016 because they are going to get their asses beat.
