This will be a major distraction for all players. No need in forcing the issue. Life is more important than football. LSU needs to stop being pussies and reschedule for 11/19.

Agreed, from a neutral perspective I can tell you right now it's LSU, not UF, that's looking bad regarding this whole situation.

If life is so important, why didn't he take LSU up on the free evacuation offer?

No LSU shouldn't have to cancel any games to accommodate floridas incompetence. Their are plenty of venues to play at this weekend. Not using them is a failure of the UF administration.

As clever as that joke is, it has been reported that we offered to play the game virtually anywhere else but it was refused.

UF dragged this out, wouldn't lift a finger to make the game happen this weekend, and they ultimately got exactly what they wanted regarding the game.
They can get bent bc LSU won't change their schedule on 11/19, especially since LSU did everything to try and get the game played this weekend Sat, Sun, or Monday anywhere.

You people need to learn how to separate the issue of the seriousness of a hurricane from the issue of a cowardly AD using the seriousness of a hurricane to get out of playing a game in order to avoid a loss.

Doesn't LSU have a home game that weekend? So they have to pay off S Alabama and lose home game revenue to satisfy Florida?

Simple, UF is offering to play on 11/19. And before you moan about LSU having to buy out the USA game, the SEC has already offered to pay the buy out. Never mind UF is willing to pay the buyout for their patsy game that weekend. UF most likely didn't want their players to have to worry about family and friends back home and have to play a football game. We've all seen those situations, the players are rarely into the game.
It was the right call not to have the game this weekend and LSU is coming off as extremely inflexible regarding the scheduling in a tough situation.

That's easy. No. LSU isn't forfeiting another home game after already having to refund millions of dollars for a canceled game in 2015.
This game just isn't going to happen.
