It still saddens me how much Wilson, McElroy and McElwain handcuffed Julio Jones

He should have been putting up Amari Cooper numbers at Bama. Instead, he only had 15 career receiving TDs because of shitty QB play and McElwain's vanilla offensive schemes.

What you mentioned was part of it, but he also had a lot of drops and a horrendous sophomore slump with nagging injuries. He was basically a non factor for most of the 09 season. He's one of those guys who plays at a higher level in the NFL than he did in college.

It was more McElroy than anything he had a noodle arm. Julio never went deep with McElroy because he couldn't get it out that far.

It was funny because people didn't even know he was fast as shite. Mike Mayock thought Julio was a 4.6 guy before the draft. He ran 4.3 with a broken foot.

He would actually better in the NFL with a QB that could get the ball down the field. Matt Ryan has a water pistol arm too.

He has gotten better at getting separation. I only saw two CB s really get the best of him at Bana.

Janoris Jenkins in the 08 SECG. He was abusing Joe Haden and had 100+yards against him. It all stopped when Jenkins covered him. In 2010 against South Carolina C.C Whitlock,Chris Culliver and the rest of the Carolina DBs played a hell of a game.

Cooper was an amazing DB coach.
South Carolina and LSU secondaries have not been the same without him.

You bitch and moan about everything. If he had put up Cooper numbers, then you would bitch about Ingram and Richardson not gettin the ball enough.

So we won a ton of games, but you're not happy with his stats? You need to be quiet and worry about your fantasy team.

Even freaks of nature need some time to mature. I remember thinking the guy should be breaking ankles both ways but he had trouble getting his hands right. Some things, you have to learn more slowly.

Julio used to brew a cup of coffee and read the paper before one of Mcelroy's screen passes made it to him so now you think he could've thrown it down field.

Gimme 2010 McElroy over any of our QBs excluding 2012 and 2013 McCarron

Are you old enough to still be pissed off at how Bear Bryant used Ozzie Newsome? I'm guessing not.

Julio is a team player and put team accomplishments over individual. He'd tell you that himself. He won a National Championship at Bama in 2009. Guarantee you he isn't ashamed of that accomplishment.

It really blows my mind how you are more obsessed with stats then you are results on the field.
