Last year we could go 3 deep and in the 4th qt still be relatively fresh, this year if we have one injury we might be in trouble...Dalvin, Payne, Allen and Hand and that's basically it or am I forgetting someone? What happened? Anyone who thinks this D will be as good as last year is out of their mind imo.

Just have younger guys who are not as proven. They are still the best recruits in the country. When has our defense not been great? Dont be dumb

Josh Frazier should see alot of time and he has the potential to be a great player for us. Then the JUCO kid last name King should also come in and contribute

Also Reakwon Davis is getting alot of hype as a freshman. Without looking it up he is somewhere around 6'7 280lbs

I think if the DL stays in-tact injury wise we will be just as good or better.

If the DL breaks down health wise then we could very quickly become a very good pass defense and a pretty good, but not dominant, rush defense.

Yeah, I don't really buy your concerns. Bama front 7 is stacked and nasty. The only way y'all get knocked off is if a team can keep y'all under 20 points(except maybe Clemson).
This is why I give LSU a decent shot. The over/under on that game will likely be around 40

I think Payne is badass player but I don't see how Bama fans aren't concerned about losing Reed, A'Shawn and Ragland.

With all due respect, hearing any complaints about depth at Alabama doesn't elicit a great deal of sympathy here in Nashville.

Dline depth isn't concerning, last year we were blessed...very blessed. Welcome back to normalcy.

OM beat bama wo much dl depth, so depth can't be that big of a deal.

I want to believe you but I just can't anymore. The pattern seems to be that Bama has a massive drop off in the first month of the season after losing a bunch of players to the NFL but by November the new starters have experience to go with their 5 stars and you roll into the post-season with ease.

Our starting LT is out with plantar fasciitis, and we just had a LB suspended (broke an undisclosed team rule).

We're all missing something.

We should manage this year. Huge drop-off after Payne in the middle but we have a couple of big boys that are capable. They just need experience. Gonna miss Robinson and Reed, they shut the run down last year.

What concerns me is missing out on a dominant NG type last year and not in the mix for one this year. That might hurt us in a couple of years.

Don't be too concerned, your team will be the favorite to win the SEC West and your unproven players are better than the returning players from other teams.

Enjoy the season, I think the SEC West will be very interesting

Bama's front 7 on D will be fast and nasty, hopefully the new D depth does its job...
