The fans we saw were all great, tons of fun and very welcoming. That might have been a bit influenced by the fact that when we were up there they were lobbying hard to get into the SEC. Now that y'all have taken that spot instead of them, it might not be quite as nice . . .

But the people were gracious as could be. We had a horror story of a trip from DC (WAY tl;dr to post here), but several WVU fans went above and beyond to help get us all there.

Good luck, have fun, and GEAUX TIGERS!

Stop here here on your way for a quick 101 on proper couch burning if you want to blend in. Only the WV faithful can rival us.

Pace yourself on their moonshine. Also, I highly recommend going white water rafting while you're there.

Morgantown is pretty cool. It's different.

Agree with another poster who said that it is kinda hard to get there. Our bus actually broke down on the way from DC and we had to hitch hike the rest of the way. Not kidding.

I thought the atmosphere in the stadium was awesome. Right before the Mo Claiborne kickoff return, I was looking around thinking how awesome it was. If he doesn't return that kick for a TD, LSU probably wins by a lot smaller of a margin.

Can't tell you much about the nightlife. Some of the girls were pretty hot.

Killz,

I had a couple of buddies go and they said it was fricking terrible and they have been everywhere.

The stories are real.

West Virginia is the worst state I have ever been to. It's not the people are terrible or worse than any other state it's just like every where is similar to Livingston Parish.

If you just walk around the blue lot and tell as many WVU fans as you can "Eat shite Pitt", you will be fed and drank to death.

Not an LSU fan but their fans are the worst in the world. Miami fans are awesome in comparison.

And the state of WV as a whole is shite too.

I remember that Morgantown reminded me of Reno:
You hear all of these bad things, but the place seemed really nice. What is everybody's problem with this place? Then you start noticing. Everybody has a few teardrop tats under their eye, or spiderweb jail ink on their neck, or a glass eye with a rebel flag in the pupil.

When they cam to Mississippi, I thought I had stumbled upon a Gathering of the Juggalos.

Nice folks though
