Head Coach that is. I don't see miles as an AD.

No thanks, Auburn has enough trouble developing quarterbacks and scoring points.

If he felt like he was being pushed out of LSU and Auburn offered, sure he would. Sort of like a Nutt to Ole Miss move.

I don't think he would be considered for an NFL job any longer but I actually think he would do well in the NFL if he left his coordinators alone to do their jobs. He's a solid program manager and a players coach that would keep the players happy.

No. Age. Has money. I also don't think Lou Holtz or Steve Spurrier will be starting over at a new school. Is Stallings still alive? No on him as well, regardless of whether he's alive or dead.

He coached at Okie State, which is a better program than Auburn.

Nick Saban, however, will be the next coach of the Cowboys....in Dallas.

It pains me to say it, but it would be good for Les to leave a mid tier school for something better.

If Les tells you he will leave LSU in a pine box get worried that is what coaches say the night before they take the Auburn job.

If Auburn is willing to pay Les five million a year I'm sure he'd take the job. They also have to be willing to have the highest paid staff in the country.

Coaches are all whores for the $$$, so why not if the price is right.

If anything their agents will use interest from another school as way to bump the pay at current school.

So yea, I could see miles or any coach going anywhere for a price.

Sure. Why not?

He might get revenge on LSU every year.

Les Miles? No. Art Briles? Yes.

Les is crazy but runs a conventional pro style offense and while he's had a couple of players run afoul of the law, Lester's boys behave for the most part.

But Briles? Runs a crazy point-a-minute aerial circus offense. Auburn loves them some gimmicky attacks. Art's players ran amok on Baylors campus, raping and pillaging and the coaches tried to keep it on the down low. He should fit right in down at the East Alabama Correctional Facility.

Hell no! Les is at home in LSU. I know fans get frustrated with him, but he's a pretty good coach (don't you dare fricking quote me on that)

I think Les will go where he is appreciated and isn't treated like he is being treated at LSU the last couple of years.

For Auburn to ever have a great coach it will have to be someone like Saban when he came to LSU. People knew Saban had potential but he was not widely known and that is what Auburn needs to go after. A young guy with a great resume, not 3 years out of high school.

Think about it, Auburns two most famous coach's are Dye and Tubberville and neither one really won anything. They were a little better than average but nothing great about either coach.

Gus will probably not make it past the year unless there is a surprise down there that nobody is seeing.
