Let's talk about the sad state of LSU football

It's common knowledge that 1-9-12 broke the program's back and LSU has been a sad shell of itself ever since. I mean LSU has gone only 14-10 vs. the West since that game, better than only Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Mississippi St, Auburn, and Arkansas. Pretty sad!
As if that wasn't pathetic enough, consider LSU's embarrassing 6-2 record vs. the East since 1-9-12. How did Miles keep his job last year?
I mean just look at the LSU-Alabama series. Do you remember the last time LSU beat Alabama? You have to go all the way back to 2011. Think about how much different the world was back then. Obama was President. Adele had the #1 song. Some old timer named Clayton Kershaw won the NL Cy Young (wonder if he can even fit in a uniform these days!)
It's still hard to believe Alabama has beaten LSU five times in a row. Five times! That kind of domination hasn't been seen since LSU beat Alabama five straight times between 2003-2007 Ancient history! Sad!
As inferior as LSU has become to Alabama, I really felt sorry for the poor Tigers when they had to go play in Tuscaloosa last year. Anyone could see it was over by that halftime score of 13-10. Then it really got out of hand in the 2nd half and Alabama won by a whole two touchdowns.
And if the past 4 years wasn't sad enough, the 2016 forecast is even more bleak. LSU is only favored in...well, let's see... all of their games, but that's gotta be some kind of misprint right?

Are you really bragging about a 14-10 division record?

What a sad post, sad that you use sarcasm to deal with tDecline you know is a reality. Your run is way over, it will never return. Saban is gone, you may win a natty within the next 30 years, but no more than that. Just this Bama fan's opinion anyway.

Damn how sad. Bama's win in 15 was probably the most dominant since Shaun Alexander played if you actually watched it. Bama excelled at running and stopping the run and LSU could do neither.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish here?

You didn't even mention Fournette. I'm impressed.

OP had potential and then flopped. I upvoted prematurely.

Even though u weren't being serious the stats you posted actually made LSU look bad, so next time have someone else read your trolling before you shame yourself and your school.

2012 - 2nd in the SEC West
2013 - 3rd in the SEC West (21 point loss to Alabama)
2014 - 5th in the SEC West (34 point loss to Auburn, 17 point loss to Arkansas)
2015 - 4th in the SEC West (14 point loss to Alabama, 17 point loss to Arkansas, 21 point loss to Ole Miss)
Not only are we losing more divisional games, we're getting blown out more and more as we progress from 2011.

That 2002 game was pretty bad. But, you are right. LSU's offensive line was mauled by Alabama's front 7. I've never seen a team, especially at LSU's caliber (recruiting wise), not able to get any push at all. Our defensive front 7...I'll give them a slight pass considering they were on the field most of the game.
