Hope the guy is successful wherever he goes he was a hell of a recruiter for us in the class he was in.
He's gone dude let it go  you guys still have the rest of the season ahead of you to make up for things

Saban to LSU
Herman to Bama
Saban retires after two seasons
Herman carries on Saban dominance
Profit

The melt if this were to happen would be catastrophic to say the least
It's funny it feels like it was yesterday when LSU fans were so happy and believed they would run through the SEC only to wake up from the dream they were having and face the hard reality of mediocrity

Since Miles was hired at LSU, who has more total wins in the NCAA?
Sorry bud but I don't know that off the top of my head.

The sheer retardation of SEC Rant posters didn't disappoint in this thread.

Retard logic: keep a mediocre coach forever because you COULD do worse. ?
114-34 is mediocre, in what world

saving this post for when nick saban retires in a few years
How is retiring the same as firing ??
Bama has more freshman starting than most FBS teams :dunno:

Oh, so your saying its a status or cash thing. I thought his protest was about the oppression of people of color in this country due to lack of opportunity and the law of the land is stacked against them.
We can make it right by equally dividing up everyone's money in that case. Well problem solved. Thanks Kap, your the man.

On average there are 96 African Americans killed by law enforcement annually. While there is over 6,000 African Americans murdered by African Americans. Why aren't you concerned about that? Why aren't you concerned that a police officer is 18.5 more likely to be killed by an African American than kill an African American. Do you think these facts have a direct correlation on how law enforcement approaches African Americans in general and put them on a higher state of alert? If you say otherwise then you have your head stuck in the sand.
Aww the old bring up black on black crime argument to distract people technique. I see where you going buddy and Im gonna respond as best as I can then Im gonna bow out of this one because I see its gonna turn into a big shitshow soon. However, you do know that most crimes by people are committed in their respective communities
right, well if you live in a high crime area where theres a high conglomerate of one race, would you truly be surprised if there was a high amount crimes committed by that race against the same race. Theres just as much white on white crime as there is black on black crime in this country so I don't understand whats the point of you bringing that up, but you not the first to do it and you will not be the last.

You can argue about whether it is oppression or circumstance (or the origins of it), but many minorities are born into situations that are much, much, much more difficult to break out of into success than non-minorities. That's just fact.
And you wanna know what makes things worse, you bring this to people's attention and they think you are wining or just complaining for no reason, as if racism is a fantasy that doesn't exist. In the end, we should all be able to come together as one but we shouldn't disrespect someone for protesting something such as this even if we don't agree with how they went along with it.
At the end of the day all I have to say is :rolltide: to you buddy
quote:

How are minorities "oppressed" in this country? Kap and thousands of minorities in the US make millions a year.
You really think millions of other minorities have the same type of status and cache as Kap and other professional athletes, wth are you smoking?

Because his message has merit, but he has completely overshadowed it by this particular protest.

He has got attention, but the narrative has become Kap vs the flag, and I think the protest now hurts his message more than helps it.
I can understand what you are saying and its reasonable to an extent, but he is protesting and theres not really a clear cut way for one to protest something. We can say that he has gone about this the wrong way but he has definitely drawn attention to himself and his cause.
Tamir Rice, Philandro Castille, Sean Bell just to name a few

He said cops are oppressing and killing black people. Which is not true. The people killed were criminals, and by law, the cops have every right to protect themselves when being attacked.
What situation are you talking about where cops were attacked?

His motives are a piece of arse.
I guess if thats how you feel :dunno:

Like I said yesterday, to each their own.

And to Q his own too. And like I said above, I like that he just did it. Didn't make a scene or let everyone know he was doing it for some grand reason, he just frickin did it.

Good for him.
 I can always expect a voice of reason and intelligence from you George most of everyone else on here not so much , FWIW I think this whole fiasco has been somewhat overblown tbh
