Obvious the media surrounding Ole Miss is "slightly" biased.

Quotes from the link
"Don’t get me wrong, if you make mistakes, you have to pay for it based on the rules. The root issue here are the rules, the bylaws that are outlined in all these reports. Hot flash to the NCAA, the fans don’t care or understand your laws. What the fans that pack Vaught-Hemingway Stadium want to see on a Saturday afternoon is a good game. And preferably a win."

"You think people who pay $1,600 for four season tickets care if a player’s family got an extra $800 at the airport or not? You think the vast majority of those same ticket holders care if Laremy Tunsil or CJ Hampton are driving around with a loaner Nissan Titan or Dodge Challenger? Most people would say “It’s not my car. It’s not my issue. I just want to see a win over Alabama for the first time in my life.”

So basically you are saying it's OK for players to go to the highest or the stealthiest bidder. Yea, let's just have professional football in college.

North Carolina and Duke are still giggling about this. Rules? That's for the little schools.

People also want to see a level playing field. That's why there are rules in place. If you don't enforce them, then things get out of hand and ruin the sport.

You seem awful invested in this bro. It's OK man. They beat us a couple of times. It's only happened ten times in history dude, let em have it. Their fans are gonna pay a hefty price for the sins of the program in a couple of years and I hate it for them.

This is part of the reason people are lobbying to get rid of the ncaa. They are god, judge, and jury. They obviously are biased amd it pisses people off. You get different school around the country harassed by the NCAA for some dumb arse kid signing jerseys, and alabama kids are driving around in custom rims and new cars. Like wtf... NCAA is at a tipping point and they know it. Don't poke the bear too much.

I'd agree with those quotes. I DGAF how we do it, I'm just tired of seeing UK play shitty football.

Coming from a former non-football student athlete at A&M. It's BS that football players get money, cars, etc. on top of a FREE fricking education. I'm sorry, but that is more than enough to compensate for running out on a field and hitting each other for 15 minutes.

Not sure how old you are, but I remember too well how the old wild & wholly the SWC used to be: nothing but outlaw programs run amok. Warts & all, college football needs the NCAA to keep all the trash & POS under control.

I would like to see the NCAA start enforcing rules with an iron fist.Maybe that would motivate the NFL to set up a farm program of some type.

There is no reason for a kid that doesn't care about college,to have to go to college, just so he can play football.

Scholarships should be going to kids that can really appreciate them.We would enjoy the sport just as much, maybe even more.
