What, in the hell, is that thing he does throwing back to the mound from his knees.he almost falls over on every toss. Is it a yips thing like Romero?

It's just a hitch in his throwing motion. Fires to 2nd base just fine on steals. Hasn't over or under thrown a pitcher all year for what I can remember

Supposedly it's just a mental hang up. Basically, it's in his head. He's fine throwing to any base. It is down right painful to watch though. Never seen anything quite like it this side of Coach Pitch.

Then watch Romero if he catches for us tonight. He basically almost throws it back to the pitcher and at the last second taps it in his glove the tosses it.
They're probably recounting facts about playboy centerfolds too.

I wasn't sure if I was imagining that or what... But it reminds me of the Rookie catcher from Major League II ( Movie) he had a mental block on throwing the ball back to the mound

Dale Murphy had to be moved to Center because he could no longer throw the ball to the pitcher. Crazy to think how that is. What was the second baseman from the Dodgers that couldn't throw to First any longer?

I remember a few years ago the South Carolina catcher had the yip throwing back to the mound and he had a freaking gun. Tall mofo, kid of weird for a catcher.

I remember Chuck Knoblauch having some serious issues over at second base.

Steve Sax.
Chuck Knoblauch had the same issue at second.

Yep, thanks. Dale Murphy was a catcher at 6'5

Mackey Sasser (Mets catcher early 90's) had a serious problem with that

Once it gets in your head it can be impossible to make go away. Having played 1st base a lot, I played with several guys who had the inability to make easy throws to 1st.

Pretty sure you're talking about Grayson Greiner. He was like 6'5 or something close to that.

I rarely, never, use this term but you LSU fans use the gayest shite to talk about other teams and fans.
