Didn't know we've been in the SEC West 47 Seasons?

Before 1960 is was pretty lean for the Hogs. And since joining the SEC there have been some mighty bad years.

Think LSU had 21 sub .500 seasons in the 1990 decade. Talk about lean times

Both LSU and Alabama had their worst stretches (of more than 4 seasons) within my lifetime, and I ain't THAT old.

Feels like Dubose and Shula gave us all 14 of ours, but I would be remiss not to give Ears his due.

Pretty sure we had a 4-7 year under Shula. My memory is fading (thankfully), so I could be wrong.

EDIT... it was 4-9

I would push that back a bit to 1953 when Bowden Wyatt was hired. 31 of our 47 seasons of .500 or below came before 1954. Since then we've only had 16.
