I imagine votes will be pretty spread out across the board... Many many deserving candidates but with one conference series left who'd get your vote ?
Paul Mainieri - lost 7 bats (maybe 8) in the lineup from last year's team and are still looking like a Regional host with an outside shot at a National Seed.
John Cohen - Went from a last place in the conference to locking down a top 8 seed in early May... Very complete team with tons of offensive depth.
Kevin O'Sullivan - Florida has been #1 in RPI for almost the entire season... Take 2/3 in Baton Rouge and they'll lock down the #1 overall seed regardless of what happens in Hoover
Mike Bianco - Arguably the weakest starting pitching rotation in the conference this season yet he's locked down a Regional host and still in play for a top 8 seed and the SECw crown.
Chad Holbrook - missed postseason play for the first time in forever last season.. Bounced back this year and have been in the top 10 in the RPI the entire season... Still a National seed as of today.
Rob Childress - Everyone expected Florida to win the Regular Season Conference Title but aTm leads as of today... Still have a shot at the #1 overall seed.. Have been dominant in the batter's box and on the mound all season long.
My vote goes to John Cohen... Even though MSU was predicted by many to be a top 10 team on paper, it's not easy to go out and perform on the field when only a year ago you won less than 10 conference games... Complete 180.

Van Horn - he has shown great restraint and not killed one Hog pitcher this year. I don't know how he's done it.

Cohen from last place in 2015 to a top 5 in the NATION team this year.

Not sure if serious.
Fla was picked high in preseason polls and have 3 likely first round picks on the mound.

That kind of reasoning is basically, I sucked so much donkey dick last year that this year I should win it this year because I'm good again.

That's usually how it goes with these awards

My vote would be Childress. Obviously they have a ton of talent but he's had to push the right buttons with the pitching staff this year. More than I remember from last year.

Don't forget Childress lost his Friday night stater at the beginning of the year.
Still, I think it oughta be Holbrook.

So he should be penalized for being a good recruiter?

Sound reasoning ... You have swayed me.. I'm changing my vote to Mike Bianco.

I could probably coach Florida to a regional. Florida is loaded with talent.

Too soon. Need to wait and see if anyone crashes and burns.

Since voting for your own coach is tacky and will say A&M s coach and mairineri second. Bianca third and Holbrook 4th. OSullivan gets 15th place for me

Mainieri lost 8 of 9 line up starters from last season. Farley is only returning bat. Amazing how the offense is still pretty strong with youth and new faces
