Obviously attacked via social networking. Twitter and Instagram "hacked" (lack of a better term). Old video is posted to damage his rep mere minutes before the draft.

Then we have these texts on Instagram. Do you know how easy it is to fake a text message conversation? I could do it right now.

Then he is put on the spot after the biggest event in his life. He barely even knew what happened when he was asked about it. I'm still not sure he even realized what questions he answered.

I don't know. I poked fun at Ole Miss too, but Tunsil is a victim.

Why are you asking us what your opinion is?

Just based off the malicious timing of the video and text, yes I would say so. Regardless, that's a pretty fricked up think to do

I don't know that it's unpopular but I'd bet it's the minority opinion.

Personally, I think he's the victim of a character assassination. It's hard to say he wasn't. If that video and texts don't leak then he is a higher pick, earns more money, and doesn't have to deal with the public fallout of his actions.

He is certainly not without fault for any of this though.

Yeah, I would say anytime the content of someone's private life is maliciously aired in public they are a victim, and more so when it messes with their livelihood.

Hard to feel sorry for somebody who takes a video of themselves ripping a bong, then revealing the gas mask to show his face, especially when he's a high profile athlete

Yes, he was a victim. I still don't know that my pity for him outweighs the entertainment that draft night was to me. I also think the perp deserves punishment but in a way I'd like to give him a high 5 (if those texts/messages are real).

Tunsil is the victim of a backwoods baptist preacher and bad parenting. He is a poor simple kid that was taken advantage of by a beaver.

He clearly isn't the brightest bulb, but I have nothing against the guy personally. He was conned by an institution of corruption.

He's definitely a victim. How anyone can think otherwise when someone was clearly trying to frick with his life is beyond me.

I felt horrible for Tunsil, desperately wanted the Titans to draft him, and mocked Ole Miss heavily.

Victim? Nah. They didn't lock him in a room and pump it full of THC. He put on the gas mask. No one told him to go asking for money for his mom. At 18 years old he's a grown arse man. Don't give me this "kid" bullshite either. The happenings of the past few days are directly, specifically, related to decisions he chose to make. That's the problem with you fricking "kids" nowadays. You always want to blame someone else for your pisspoor decisions.

Yes, he is a victim of his own stupidity.

You would have a point that you can make up text messages, but he already slipped with the "I would have to say yes". He went in the first round and will make good money. He will make up the rest on his second contract if he doesn't frick up too much.

Reading some comments here and there, apparently it is.

I felt bad for the kid. You can argue whether he's been taken advantage of or a victim of his own devices but when Roger fricking Goodell comes out and says it's good entertainment for the draft, it's pretty clear that even the NFL was eating up his downfall. That's fricking pitiful.

He smoked up knowing it would be a cost if caught, so no. He is not a victim. He made a decision and now he has to live with it. We all make mistakes. but we all have to suffer the consequences if said decisions go sideways. He is now suffering consequences. I can feel for the guy....like I said, we all make mistakes and make poor decisions.

I think the amount of attention and derision he's been receiving is pretty disproportionate for his actions. He's not the only bigtime college player in the draft who smoked weed and took money.

I won't lie, seeing how Ole Miss fans are reacting to it is entertaining but this kid was ready for a great signing day and got bamboozled at the last second. It sucks for him.

I feel for Tunsil. What was supposed to be the night of his life will now be a night he tries to forget. I have no idea how I would handle myself or what I would say in a presser after being put through a situation like that.

I don't think weed is deserving of that type of damage, BUT I'm a biased homer cheatin' bear so I guess I should frick off.
