5. Gus Malzahn- most likely of the list provided
4. Les Miles - nah
3. Kevin Sumlin - should be most likely, but isn't
2.Bielema - has Hawg fans in some kind of trance- he's safe
1. Butch Jones- not for anything football related. Would have to be rape cover-up type stuff.
If Will Muschamp's head explodes is that the same thing as getting fired?

4. Les Miles - Nope...They don't want another fiasco like last season's vote of confidence...and LSU can't afford to buy him out, anyway.
LSU can afford to buy him out, as the AD and TAF has plenty of money to do so, but the university president won't allow that to happen because of what it will look like publicly and politically. This was made pretty clear this past season. Regardless, I agree, Miles isn't going anywhere unless he loses 5+ games, and with what LSU has coming back, that's pretty unlikely.

Serious off-topic question. Why can't LSU throw the forward pass? Every year you have beast D; good/ great OL. Offensive skill (minus QB) is insane. Yet LSU needs a Hawg/ Ole Miss type play to convert a 3rd and 4.

1. Butch Jones (If UT fails once again to make it to the SEC championship game, I just don't see him lasting another year.)
He wouldn't get fired for not winning the East. He'd get fired for a losing season or maybe a 6-6 season. But UT isn't gonna fired him this year for not winning the division as long as they have a decent season.

Are Arky fans really goaltending for bert already? I realize he finished out the season fairly strong but has everybody forgotten all the calls to fire him halfway through this last season? The dude has yet to win more than 7 regular season games after 3 years....
As to the others:
Sumlin, Miles, & Malzahn will all be sweating if their teams win less than 8 games, and rightfully so. With returning talent factored in that means A&M and auburn are most likely to be coach shopping after this season.

well, in LSU's losses to Alabama and Arkansas, they were 6/8 on 3rd down when they needed 5 or less yards to convert and 3/17 on 8 yards or more ( LINK ). Having trouble finding stats on it for the season. But yes, LSU struggles converting 3rd and long because they struggle at the QB position. I know it was tongue and cheek, but LSU does not run trick plays to convert 3rd and long plays. Actually it's quite the opposite. They run overly simplistic plays and routes that are easy to defend

I shouldn't have to point this out, but I meant the other Stoops, the Kentucky Stoops.

I am not saying he is Top Ten Coach, but there are very few scenarios that would get Brett fired by Long, nor should there be at this point. Fans being upset will not determine it.

Simple:
In the last decade under Miles, we've had at least 5 prolific passing years: 2013 and 2012 under Mettenberger, and 2005,2006 and 2007 under Russell and Flynn.
All 5 of those years, we had a pro-style pocket passer whose main talent was throwing.
2008-2011 - not so much with Lee and Jefferson, and
2014-2015 - no with Jennings and Harris, although Harris was an improvement (started out 8-0 and ranked #2 before getting hurt vs Bama.
2016? Remains to be seen with Harris..
But we have signed and/or committed several promising passers in near future:
Lindsey Scott, Myles Brennan and Zadock Dinkelmann

Compared to what LSU usually trots out there...

Not a top 10 coach by any means but to say he isn't even in the top 30 is silly.

Bob Stoops' little brother is safe at UK. We don't expect much in football and demand even less. Now that we've got a pretty stadium and a nice band to listen to at halftime, we're satisfied.

This is the type of crap that get Aggies in trouble. We keep fooling ourselves into thinking we are as these "SEC West" teams. Our starting 22 may be pretty good, but there was a huge delta between roster spots 23-105. A&M has had to spin 3* defensive end recruits down to play defensive tackle, while LSU moves elite defensive end recruits up to linebacker. Big difference folks. There is a reason A&M starts losing towards mid season and it isn't Sumlin. It's that he has to roll out a bench with Kyler Murray, Laquiviante Gonzales, and Brice Dolezal. Bama has elite linebacker and safety recruits that only play special teams.
