that would be a very competitive program. Miississippi is loaded with talent but the 2 schools squabble over it leading them both to be mediocre at best. The black dogs shall be their new nickname. 49-37-2 combined against The Hogs and it aint getting any better for you two.

Louisiana is loaded with talent and before Saban arrived they were essentially just as successful as Ole Miss.

Imagine if Arkansas had another sec team or established team in state.
That fall from mediocrity would be amazing

The problem is the terrible public education system that leaves too few eligible players. That is why the MS Junior college scene is so huge.

It's already has gotten better, and we're already competitive. If we merged, we'd dominate Arkansas, like forever. Why would you want that?

it would also be good for every other school's money intake from the SECN b/c the SEC could add another school from a larger state instead of having to split revenues from a small one like Mississippi.

5 shitty threads on page one. You should consider pumping the brakes.

The Mississippi Blackdogs actually seems like a pretty bad arse name.

I've been wrong before, but I'm pretty sure that if we win in Starkville this year that will make it 4 in a row over Ark. Might wanna worry about your own team being competitive.
edit: i was wrong, it'll make it 5.

I'd say it's trending favorably for MSU with the last 4 results...
With Arkansas being the only team in their state, one would think they could at least fill up there own stadium:

If you have two turds and mash both together you still just have one big piece of shite.

Bears and bulldogs don't breed

"Very competitive"
I think we would be more than that. If Ole Miss and State merged and Auburn and Alabama merged... I don't know if any other school could win the SEC.

If State and OM combined, that school would dominate in football and baseball, and, eventually, would probably be pretty freaking good at basketball.

Honestly, it would be a situation comparable to LSU. One instate power in a state that produces a good amount of talent.

Would be like the merger of Sears and K Mart. Merger of two bad companies
