We've already PROVEN that LSU has played by far the easiest SEC schedule of the Big 6 teams. There is no disputing that.
I dont understand why this matter to you? Not the easiest, but the least ammount of other Big 6 schools. Let me help you spell this out:

Maybe he realized that he had weakened his earlier argument that Georgia was courageous for playing Auburn and Florida in the SEC's early years while LSU must have been dodging them by playing Ole Miss and Tulane instead.
The fact of the matter is that Ole Miss and Tulane had 9 SEC titles combined during that era while AU and UF had just 1 SEC title combined (up until the 1980s)--and by today's standards would actually have had 0 titles since SEC teams on NCAA probation can no longer compete for the conference crown.
Could Georgia have actually been the school during that era that dodged the stronger teams of the conference in order to play the weaker teams? I'm just sayin'...
From what I've seen, it's more likely he just doesn't know what he's talking about.
From 33 to 65, LSU's conference opponents had a .534 conference winning percentage, second highest of any SEC team. Georgia's had a .485.
You should always just teams by how good each one was, not their historical measure. When Michigan went 3-9, teams were playing a 3-9 team, not the winningest team in history. Measuring "Big 6" opponents is asinine, if you're looking for an SOS measure.

No way would tech be part of a big 7. Their winning % would have been destroyed over the past 50 years.
