Leonard Fournette is the only SEC rb to ever eclipse 1,900 rushing yards in 12 games

Let's not forget, he's a sophomore. He's just under averaging 1,500 yards a season, which would put him 3rd all time behind Herschel and McFadden (the most underrated rb in the history of the SEC)....the only SEC rbs to ever average over 1,500 yards a season. He catches a lot of shite from opposing SEC fans, but the kid is straight up ridiculous. We are watching three or four of the best rbs in the history of the SEC with Fournette, Henry, Chubb, and Collins at the same time. There are some very serious rushing stats going around. It's been a lot of fun to watch all of these guys compete this season. I wish we could have seen Chubb compete more this season.

First half of that nobody cares about. But the last part of it was pretty cool to hear.

So you had your first to 2000 ever lined up , and fell back to this. It's still very impressive.

Could have surpassed 2k early in the 3rd had the playcalling not been so atrocious

Should his parents print the shirts?

Congratulations to Fournette on a great season.

He is a great back. But what sticks in a lot of peoples minds, is 1.6 yards per carry...

Herschel Walker went for 1975 yds in 12 games in '81. He had 84yds in the Sugar Bowl but Bowl stats were not added to season totals back then, he had 1891yds in 11 games + 84yds in the Sugar...

Great! LSU couldn't finish better than third in their division, when their RB had the best season of all time. Am I doing this right?

In 11 games really.
He didn't get any help from the O-line or offensive play-calling in that one game two states over...

He looked great putting up 200+ against Eastern Michigan.
I agree that he is an elite talent...but he has got to bring it in the big games if he wants to be historic.

McFadden the most underrated? Yeah, ok.

Really, 11 games. It's like he didn't play at all against Bama.

Fornette is a tremendous tailback. He has good balance, a great burst and top end speed.
The only reason Bama people appear to "hate" on Fornette is because of the disrespect shown towards D Henry.
Henry is equally great, yet has a somewhat awkward running style.
Chubb is dynamic as well.
But Hershel Walker is Hershel Walker. In 50 years of watching this sport, hes still the most dominate player I've ever seen.
