Will is a very frustrated guy right now. Has a head coach that recruits no D players, pays no attention to defense and couldn't care less how many points you score. Quite different then working for Saban or Tubs. Will will bolt for ANY job that offers him the gig. McNeese could call and he'd go.

From an outsider's perspective, Muschamp had a reason to go off. His defensive end gave a piggyback ride to the bama lineman with 3 to 4 officials looking right at it.

If that had been Gus screaming at the ref, there would have been no flag. A ref can take some cussing from the head coach. But you can't have assistants running out on the field getting in the refs face cussing up a storm. Refs are not going to take that shite and they shouldn't. OP is exactly right. No other head coach is going to allow his coordinators to argue calls in that manner. That is the HC's duty.
