Bert
Butch
Gus
Stoops
(last two basically interchangeable)
Funny thing is, at some point in their tenures, I would bet that each has ranked best of the 4 at one point, and that each has ranked worst at another point. Right now, Arkansas is 6-4 and looks extremely good after a horrible start, and after back to back quality road wins Bert is feasting. Tennessee is 6-4 and decent, and almost quite good. Butch seems to help us in some aspects and hurt us in others. Gus has taken a team with Natty potential and turned it into a .500 team, and Stoops just lost to Vandy

None of them are all that great, Bert and Stoops have done about as much as anyone can expect an average to above average coach to achieve at Arkansas/Kentucky level programs and probably should look to jump because no one is winning more than 8 or 9 games regularly at either place.

Bert (Jen must be pretty sore from the last few weeks)
Butch (gotta close out those tight games)
Stoops (would've been closer to the other two if he didn't lose to Vandy)
Gus (6th most talented roster according to the 247 composite roster. Too many busts to be a coincidence.

1A. Bert - inherited a poop show
1B. Gus - great start, looking shaky
2. Butch - great recruiter, very questionable coach
3. Stoops - like a worse version of Butch, severely out coached by Derek Mason yesterday who is getting better but still most questionable HC in the league.

The answer is that it's still too early to say definitively on any of them.
As if now I would say:
Bert
Butch/Gus
Stoops

Bert
Butch/Gus
Stoops

Pretty happy with my coach. Think Bert is finally coming along. Stoops appears kinda stuck in a rut this season but I still have hope for him at UK. Gus I don't know where to place.

With a win next week Bert will have more victories over top 25 teams in the last 3 years than Sumlin.
Wow

Bert may be 6-4 with a losing SEC record so far, but we can see the program he is building here and we like it. Got bit by the injury bug a little bit this year, but the future looks good barring another motorcycle accident or possibly choking on a ham bone.

The consensus had Gus first before the season.
Just a month or so ago, Stoops was #1......
But ranking them?.... Bert, Butch, St. Gus, Stoops

Butch and Bert only two that could be classified as still competitive

It sucks to say we lost to aTm more than it does Toledo. We would beat you by 21 if played tomorrow regardless of venue.

I still don't know how you lost to A&M. You would break their souls now.
