Georgia's depth at Tailback

Earlier in the year, all we heard was Nick Chubb, Sony Michelle, Keith Marshall. Deepest backfield in the SEC, maybe the nation. Chubb was the real deal, unfortunately after his injury, they arent close to the same team. Also the experts at the SEC Network proclaimed their O line to be the best in the SEC. What gives?

I'm disgusted with Georgia right now. It's like that whole team just quit.
Clearly, Mark Richt has lost control.

The experts were so wrong.
Also, Michel is much better suited to the change of pace role. He doesn't have Chubb's vision to run through the tackles, which curiously is all Schottenheimer has been asking him to do. I still think our RBs are very good, it's just that Chubb was a massive part of our gameplan.

Sony is good but I believe he is suffering from a hip injury. Keith Marshall shows signs of being his old self but I think that injury is still in his mind. Douglas is simply a clean up guy and really has no business on the field otherwise .

And a broken hand.

Our offensive line isn't good, and they're being coached poorly. Sony had a hip pointer and now has a broken bone in his hand. Douglas, not great. Marshall needs to get more carries.
And you'd see those guys be way more effective if we still had Chubb to pound away at the D.
It's similar in that if Fournette went down, Guice, Williams, and Brossette wouldn't be as effective. It doesn't mean they're not good, it just means the D isn't going to get worn down as much from one of the best players in the nation.

He is still at Georgia? Bust

He broke his knee in knoxville his sophomore season and just hasn't ever been the same. Not really fair to call him a bust because of that.

Georgia could have rid us of the volzheimers for the rest of the season, they should be scorned, not mourned.

are they the ones that said Aubie would challenge for the West? They just didn't specify the West-basement, I guess..

We would still be very affective just saying... Not as but Williams is the best back up in the SEC and could carry the load then Guice and Brossette would clean up. We still have Ducre also which is a very fine back in his own right. We deep real deep, and we are the deepest in the country much less SEC. LSU would be ok without LF.

Guarantee that they'll find a way to lose to either UK or Auburn.

Can you continue saying UF won't win weekly for us? Thanks.

We would not be the same team without LF. Sorry to bust your bubble, but LSU would not be ok. Would we still be a good team yes. Not a great one though that we are with fournette.

Would y'all be ok? Yes.
Would you be the same? No.
You aren't the same team when you lose the best player in the nation, just like we aren't the same team when we lost a top 5 player in the nation. You can think Williams is the best back up (I don't, but you have your right to believe that) but we thought Sony was before we lost Chubb. It's just different when you miss that high-caliber level of a player.

So now it is the Jets, Rams, and the Dawgs. He's running out of excuses.
