He gets paid $4ish million a year to get 9-10 wins. The money folks at the school are happy with that. How is getting paid roughly $11,000 PER DAY for what he produces not a top 10 gig?

I get what your saying but Georgia admins are not willing to fork out the resources needed to win. I have posted links earlier in the tread where UGA couldn't get a IPF till this year and how Richt was paying staff out of his pocket. Georgia also lacks history unlike USCw. Georgia has potential to be a top 10 job but right now, its no where close to being top 10 or relavent.

Georgia is a top 10 job. Great facilities, lots of history, great recruiting base.

Better than Michigan for recruiting.
Better than Penn St and Clemson for every reason.

I don't know what a tread is but I'm sure just about everyone on the rant knows UGA wouldn't fork out the money for an IPF.

Spelling and lack of apostrophe aside, this is still all kinds of idiotic.

Maybe two schools in the SEC have history like USCw.

When was last time Georgia won a championship? 2 SEC champs in 30+ years don't cut it. Top 10 programs don't hire clowns like Goff and Donan. Top 10 programs has more championship since Jimmy was in the Whitehouse. Georgia is not a top 10 program, even top 15 is stretching it.

Top 10 all time wins
3rd most SEC Championships
2 Heisman winners
Incredibly high number of NFL players

Oh and USCw has two shitty hires in a row
Alabama has had shitty hires
Everyone has had terrible coaches

Based on talent alone it ranks as at least equal with Alabama, LSU and Florida.

with the right coach UGA is a powerhouse. Their recruiting base is crazy good if they lockdown Georgia.

As I have already said, if in fact the OP's question is being asked with the possibility of UGA going a different direction at the end of the year in mind. Then really the only teams to rank them against are those also looking for a coach at the same time.

Here is a more accurately compiled list (stolen from the MSB).

Southern Cal
South Carolina
Miami
Maryland
Minnesota
Virginia Tech
Illinois
Central Florida
Hawaii
North Texas

It's a long one but the only one I would say is above UGA is USC west. However, it is still in fact a long list that will most certainly continue to grow.

I think the only SEC jobs that are clearly better are Florida and Alabama.

Georgia is right there with LSU battling for 3rd.

Then TN, A&M and Auburn are close for 5th.

Clemson and Texas A&M are not better jobs. Georgia is about equal with Penn State.

Aside from that, It's hard to disagree with the OP's point.

Oh, and it's absolutely fricking hilarious how sensitive and emotionally frail Georgia fans on this site are.

Let's see.. Strong history/tradition.. Only real major program in a very talent rich state.. SEC charter member.. Solid school academically and great college town..

I don't think there's more than 5-6 jobs more set up for success than Georgia.
