UGA has a national brand, better college town, better uniforms, better women, and a much deeper history than Texas agricultural and mechanical college.

Their recruiting base is crazy good if they lockdown Georgia.

Personally, I think UGA is on the fringe of a top 10 list as far as coaching jobs go. It's easy to say that we could be incredible if we lock down the state, but everyone knows that is damn near impossible. Saban and Miles are great coaches with less talent than the state of Georgia, and even they can't lock down the top guys from their states in many cases.

"Locking down" a state is a phrase that gets thrown around too much.

The only jobs out there that are no argument better than Georgia are:

Florida
Alabama
Texas
USC
Ohio State

Georgia is in a small group after that with LSU and Notre Dame for the next best jobs.

Then after that you have Tennessee, Oklahoma, FSU, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon, Auburn and maybe, maybe A&M in the next group.

Program history and how good a job it is are not the same.

UGA is a better historical program than A&M but salary, fan backing, donors, facilities, and even lower expectations all make A&M job better.
